The Field Handling of Natural Gas, Volume 1—Production and Conditioning Self-Study Program is a self-directed, open-book program designed to teach the basics of natural gas production and conditioning. Natural gas is considered an important and abundant source of clean energy. Learn the basics of natural gas production and conditioning and test your knowledge in this convenient, engaging program. Topics include characteristics and composition of natural gas, well equipment, gathering systems, producing equipment, natural gas and liquid separation, flow assurance, and gas sweetening.

When you purchase this program, you receive Field Handling of Natural Gas, Volume 1—Production and Conditioning (in print or e-book) and the online assessment.  If you already own a copy of the book you can purchase the assessment separately.  The assessment is made up of 150 questions and can be taken by chapter while with reading the book, or at the end after reading the entire book. If a passing overall score of 70% is not achieved, you may retake the assessment at no additional cost. Successful completion earns a Completion Certificate from The University of Texas at Austin–PETEX and 2.0 CEUs.
